Our club assisted in sponsorship of this team to the World Championship age level Problem Solving Championship in the USA  where they placed third. 

The team will give us their feedbaack on their experience.

Partners are welcome.

Past District Governor Mark Yaxley from the Avonhead Rotary Club will give us an outline of the purpose and success of the Rotary Foundation and the many advantages of using this arm of Rotary.

To be held at the home of Grant & Jenny McFadden, 471 Hills Road at 6 pm. A fabulous home set in gorgeous gardens (complete with pool). Following our October weekend it had been noted at club meetings that a follow-up weekend would take place at the end of February. However, to suit Hanmer Camp requirements the date has been confirmed as the weekend of Friday 13th - Sun 15th March Set the date aside for some light work, good food and fun, as well as meeting new friends from other Rotary Clubs and hopefully the local Lions. 

Heads up: Next year marks 50 years of Papanui Rotary involvement with Hanmer Springs Camp. Let's plan how we can celebrate this important occasion.

Craft Fair presentations to the recipients of the funds raised. We look forward to welcoming representatives from Christchurch Aunties and PIPS. Each organisation has an interesting story to tell. Some of sponsors for trailer raffle will also attend the meeting. 

Dy Stokes, Principal of Paparoa Street School will speak to us about the significant changes happening in and around the school. Paparoa Street School was the recipient of funds raised at the barbecue at the Halloween party last year.

 Alex Bell, from Christchurch Adventist School.

Papanui Rotary sponsored Alex to the Science Forum in Auckland in January. He will report back to us.  

Katharine has been in the news recently talking about objects found in Christchurch after the eatthquake
